Your dispatchers shouldn't be data entry clerks.
DockClerk is a box that sits in your office. It reads your bills of lading and rate confirmations, checks every value against the page, and posts clean loads to your load sheet. Anything unclear waits for a person. Nothing leaves the building.
Drop it in. Clean loads post. The rest waits for you.
No new portal for your carriers and no EDI project. Your team keeps saving paperwork where they already do.
Drop
Save the PDF, scan, or phone photo into a watched folder on your network. Bills of lading and rate confirmations, any layout.
Read & check
DockClerk reads the page on the box and runs every value through the checks below: found on the page, math, ZIP and city, legal weight.
Post or hold
Clean documents become a row on your load sheet, ready for TMS import. Anything unclear goes to a review screen with the doubtful fields marked.
It won't guess.
A wrong weight or a swapped address costs more than a minute of typing. So every load passes these checks before it posts. If one fails, the document is held and the field is marked.
| Found on the page | Every name, number, and address is matched back to the page. If DockClerk can't find a value on the paper, it doesn't write it. | Else: hold |
|---|---|---|
| Read twice | BOL number, reference number, and weight are read a second time, zoomed in. If the two reads disagree, a person decides. | Else: hold |
| Math adds up | Line totals must equal quantity times price. | Else: hold |
| ZIP, city, state agree | Addresses are checked against US postal data. Small misreads of a known city are corrected and noted; real conflicts are held. | Else: hold |
| Legal weight | Anything over 80,000 lb is held for a person to look at. | Else: hold |
| Blank boxes stay blank | An empty pickup date or PO box stays empty. DockClerk doesn't copy values from one box into another to fill a form. | Left blank |
One clean load. One messy one.
A typed rate confirmation goes straight through. A handwritten bill of lading with a crossed-out pallet count is held, and a person confirms two fields in a few seconds.

Send us your worst BOL.
The coffee-stained one. The fax of a fax. The one a driver photographed on a truck hood. We'll run it through DockClerk and send back a screen recording of the real thing working on it: what it read, what it checked, and what it held.
Email it to bol@dockclerk.com →- You email one BOL or rate confirmation.
- We run it on our own DockClerk box, not a cloud service.
- You get a short, unedited screen recording, usually within one business day.
- We delete your file once the video is sent.
Black out anything you'd rather not send, like rates or customer names. It still makes a fair test. Prefer to keep it in your building? We'll bring the box to you.
Not ready to send a document?

Please don't paste shipment details into this form. Send documents by email so they never pass through a form service.
